Botox Non-Surgical
BOTOX® is an injectable treatment that can temporarily smooth lines and wrinkles of the forehead, smile lines of the eyes (crow's feet), and frown lines between the brows. Botox is a purified protein made by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. It reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those lines to form.
A treatment takes 10-15 minutes and results begin to be noticeable in 2-3 days. Maximum effects are obtained in 7-10 days and can last up to 4 months.
In 2005, almost 3.3 million procedures were performed with FDA-approved Botox on both men and women. Having pronounced lines of the forehead, brows and eyes can make people appear angry or stressed.
