Rhinoplasty
21 year old female, 5'7" tall and 135 pounds, is unhappy with her nose. She wants a smaller tip and the hump removed. She also wants to raise the tip so it doesn't droop anymore, especially when she smiles. But she doesn't want it to look "piggy". She also wants it to look natural, with some ethnicity remaining so that it's not obvious that she had a nose job. Finally, she wanted to correct the cleft (indent) of the nasal tip. Open rhinoplasty was performed. The dorsal hump was removed and the lower lateral cartilages were trimmed to decrease the tip volume. The caudal septum was trimmed and sutures were placed to raise and strengthen the columella and tip. Reconstruction of the nasal tip was performed, with correction of the cleft and creation of a smaller, more feminine nose. Post-op photos were taken a month after surgery. Read about Rhinoplasty
