I walked in like a block of clay waiting to be made into something. I didn’t know how or what to expect, but something good. As Dr. Chiu was sketching my body, it reminded me of me sitting in the life drawing class sketching down the essence of nude human body. Dr. Chiu was doing the same, yet different. He strategically placed sketches on my body, so that he can later carve away the excessive, and let what’s beneath me, which I’ve never seen, to surface.
After the surgery, I’m amazed with the result little by little – day by day. Right on the 15th day, after exactly 2 weeks, I realized how happy I am to have made the decision to do the transformation. I feel tremendously appreciative and luck to have been introduced to Dr. Chiu as my surgeon. Not only did he carve away physically what I did not want on the outside of me, he also carved away my unhappiness of my self-conciousness and my stress of what I have been working on for years but couldn’t get rid of. The happy Me finally appeared after Dr. Chiu’s experienced body shaping planning and his artistic hand craftsmanship. Dr. Chiu’s post surgery follow up is also what made me feel good about my decision. His sincere care for his patients’ wellness made me feel like he is a family and a friend.
